Coursework for the online MBA in accounting includes the same core classes as those in the online MBA in management as well as with accounting theory, international accounting issues, accounting and auditing research, accounting information systems and other classes.
Online MBA in Human Resources Management
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), graduates with an MBA in human resources management are highly sought after.
“Candidates with certification or a master’s degree — particularly those with a concentration in human resources management — should have the best job prospects,” the BLS says.
Those who earn an MBA with a concentration in human resource management often work in roles such as chief human resources officer, labor relations manager, staffing manager and other “people-focused” positions.
Fitchburg State’s online MBA in human resources management includes the same core classes as the other two concentrations, plus classes on legal issues in HR management. Other topics in the HR concentration include job analysis, employee selection, training, appraisal, promotion and discipline.
